Hey!

So yesterday I started teaching a different class. I will be teaching math and science for kids around the age of 9. It is super fun although the kids can get a little crazy when the actual teacher leaves because she canes them when they are misbehaving. We went to a place called New Market the other day and it was wild. There are people everywhere selling so many different things. It is so crowded and guys come running by pushing carts and most people here to get your attention for something either make a kissing noise or a whistling one. I bought some fabric to wear as a skirt like they do here. I also met another volunteer named Jimmy from England who is 20, super nice guy and all us volunteers have already become good friends. The weather here has been really nice but a bit of rain the last 2 days, lots of lightening. I am so sick of the food that mama cooks. So last night the boys and kels and I travelled to a grocery store about 20 mins or so away and grabbed a few things. It is really expensive there because it is imported and lots of people don't buy things here because it is too expensive for the average Ghanian. After that the 6 of us squished into a taxi and went to a place called Kokrobita Beach for dinner. There is a decent Italien restaurant there that a couple from Spain opened up. They are really nice people, some of the other volunteers had been here before. Kelsie and I shared a pizza and salad mmmm best food I've had in days that isn't cooked in oil. The town of Kasoa is a fun place to be. We will go there and get fish and pretty much anything we need. Everything is going awesome here, I am so excited to be so immersed in the culture. The kids make my day. They love school and to learn and they love playing with us, colouring and just being cuddled. Miss you all!
